An opened a window -Das 2006 When wasting time is all we have where are memories deep - When as men we are so incomplete. When a man dies, is his soul riddled with regret. When a man lives, is his heart filled with contempt. Upon a time once lived such sweet cherished dreams - All disappeared - dark and dreary. Grasping at dead air - walking steadily into nowhere Such people as I sometimes live there. I had withered my days with triumphs filled with inactions. And I had lost my way. When fate stares back through this mirrored image - The spirit of hope floats - still within me. It begins again with simplicity - life begets life where now I see a new beginning. I have become me. Once again reaching out of oblivion the walker within closed doors has opened a window. |
